Project Overview
TikTok sought to create an exclusive oasis for the world’s most popular content creators attending Playlist Live. Drawing vibes from iconic tropical motels, we created a lounge experience that personifies the brand’s culture and creativity with unique touchpoints that promote social sharing. It all came together to create a fun and irreverent space fit for the most prominent personalities on TikTok.

Inspiration

Inspired by classic kitschy motel signage, the logo is brought to life with a featured neon sign. The branding was motivated by lush greenery, motel textures and a tropical color palette, and was applied all across the space through environmental graphics and experiential moments.

A gift shop installation featured fun, motel-themed souvenirs including branded tote bags, fanny packs, keychains, and illustrated postcards inspired by trending TikTok hashtags. There was also a DIY visor station with custom stickers that guests could apply themselves.

Installations that provoked imagination and creativity were peppered throughout the space, inspiring human connection and social sharing.
