Gin and Books

brand identity & collateral
Project Overview
Gin & Books, a Denver-based book club, combines the love of literature, food, and craft cocktails into a unique social experience. I was tasked with crafting a visual identity and brand system that stood out—something stylish, modern, and distinct from typical book club tropes. Through a tailored brand strategy workshop, we delved into Gin & Books’ purpose, voice, audience, and competitive landscape. The result is a fun yet sophisticated identity that seamlessly connects with both book enthusiasts and cocktail aficionados, reflecting the club’s vibrant and refined spirit.

Design elements
Thoughtful graphic details, like the juniper berry symbolizing gin’s signature flavor and the casual script typeface, add a playful touch to the otherwise refined, bookish logo. The versatile identity system features multiple logo lockups, offering flexibility for diverse applications and additional messaging opportunities.
